The NGO support program within the project “Empowering Community Voices: Advocating for Justice and the Rule of Law” has been completed

Through two public calls – for microgrants and small grants – a total of 11 projects were supported, of which seven were microgrants and four were small grants, which will contribute to strengthening the rule of law, transparency, institutional accountability and more active participation of citizens in decision-making processes.

The financial support program was intended for civil society organizations, civic initiatives and activists, with a special focus on local communities outside Podgorica.

Supported projects are implemented in several municipalities across Montenegro and include activities aimed at civic participation, advocacy, monitoring the work of institutions, strengthening local initiatives and improving cooperation between citizens, civil society organizations and decision-makers.

Some of the supported projects have been successfully completed, while the implementation of the remaining projects is ongoing.

Their activities are already contributing to strengthening local capacities, greater involvement of citizens in processes of public interest, networking of organizations and communities, as well as the development of initiatives that encourage more accountable, transparent and participatory governance at the local level.

The closing of the call has completed the process of awarding grants within this project. We would like to thank all organizations that participated in the public calls.

MANS and NGO Our Action will continue to monitor the implementation of supported initiatives and promote their results and examples of good practice in the coming period.
