That is, Konjevic has decided that the first charges he will file as minister will be against MANS, not against police officers that collaborate with criminals or against public officials who by violating the law manipulate voter lists or who issue false ID cards for voting (that can also cause serious security headaches down the road).

Through his actions, Konjevic has confirmed that he won’t stand apart from any other ‘soldier’ of the ruling coalition, and that nothing will come of police reform other than rhetoric.

Evidently, Konjevic is the first minister to explicitly state that he will violate the law and thereby compromise the integrity of the electoral process, while at the same time acting the part of a legalist and a protector of the Constitution and the law.

Konjevic will thus enter the annals of our history as the minister whose first serious action was aimed at an NGO, which in the last year alone has managed to uncover and document more examples of organized crime and high-level corruption than the police has managed to do in the past decade.

In the end, all that remains is to congratulate Konjevic, since all his actions have managed to do is to justify the faith that the crimino-political circles that placed him in this position have entrusted him with.
