MISSION

VISION

Montenegro as a fair, open and free society of active and free citizens with a government that serves the public interest.

We are engaged in:

1. Investigating concrete cases of corruption and organized crime
2. Monitoring the implementation of legislation and government policy
3. Providing free legal aid to citizens, CSO-s, media and businesses
4. Developing law and policy proposals and analysis
5. Conducting advocacy campaigns

STRATEGIC GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
2015-2017

• I Reduce the scope for action of organized crime

– Discovered several specific cases of organized crime

– There are a number of investigations, indictments and convictions in cases of organized crime

– Improvement and application of laws, policies and control mechanisms limit the legalization of property acquired through organized crime

• II Reduce high-level corruption

– Detected many cases of high-level corruption

– There are a number of investigations, indictments and convictions of high-level corruption

– Improved regulations and policies reduce the scope for corruption

•  III Increase the transparency and accountability of the institutions and enhance citizens’ control of their work

– Increased availability of data to detect corruption and organized crime

– Increased participation of citizens, NGOs, media and businesses in decision-making and control of the institution changes regulations and practices

– More frequent use of advanced control mechanisms increases the responsibility of the institutions involved in the fight against corruption and organized crime
